It’s a Hawaiian road trip, with the sights and sounds of beautiful Oahu as your companion! Take a scenic drive displaying some of the best sightseeing the island has to offer. As you leave Waikiki, and Majestic Diamond Head behind, you will drive through the plush residential district of Kahala for some sensational vistas. Some of the other highlights you’ll see along the way are, Hanauma Bay, one of Oahu’s favorite snorkel spots, Halona Blow Hole lookout, to view a spectacular seawater eruption from a natural saltwater geyser, and Sandy Beach, known for its excellent body surfing.
You’ll then proceed through the historic Waimanalo community to the eastern coastline. Get up close to the gorgeous Pali Cliffs in Nuuanu Valley, where King Kamehameha conquered the island of Oahu.
Trip # 1:
- Meet with the MC&A activity staff at the FRONT ENTRANCE.
- Departs hotel at 8:15 a.m.
- Returns approximately 11:15 a.m.
Trip # 2:
- Meet with the MC&A activity staff at the FRONT ENTRANCE.
- Departs hotel at 1:00 p.m.
- Returns approximately 4:00 p.m.
- Dress Code: Guests wear closed toe comfortable walking shoes, bring water, and wear sunscreen & a hat.
- Narrated roundtrip transportation
- Amelia Earhart Lookout (15 minutes)
- Halona Blowhole (10 minutes)
- Take a scenic drive past Sandy Beach to Makapuu Point and through Waimanalo, stopping at the Nu'uanu Pali Lookout (20 minutes)
