Ko'olau Waterfall Hike

Directly from your resort, our professional nature guide will shuttle you by van to a 1,200-acre private tropical rainforest at the base of the Ko’olau Mountains on the Windward side of Oahu. You’ll be issued a trail snack, water bottle and rain poncho if needed. Then take a narrated nature hike 1.5 miles roundtrip through a lush rainforest. A variety of tropical vegetation and flowers are seen along the way as we ascend approximately 300ft in elevation gain before reaching a stunning cascading waterfall. Splash in or just relax and take in the serenity of the secluded mountain pool at the base of the 25ft waterfall. From this mountain perch above windward Oahu, you will get an elevated view of Windward Oahu and a distant ocean view. We will then hike down back down the trail. Restrooms are available before and after the hike.
- Departs from the FRONT ENTRANCE OF THE COURTYARD BY MARRIOTT WAIKIKI BEACH (Directly across the street from the Malia by Outrigger) at 9:00 a.m.
- Look for the BIKE HAWAII tour vehicle/representative.
- Returns between 12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
- Guests are urged to wear closed toe shoes with good traction for dirt/mud, extra pair of socks to cover ankles and sunglasses.
- Please bring long pants and an extra change of clothes in case of wet or muddy hike.

- Due to COVID-19, certain inclusions, meal options and capacities may be changed to adhere to local mandates, and current safety & health guidelines.

- Restrooms are available in the park lot area prior to starting the hike.
- Lunch is not included in tour.
- Cancellations made after November 26, 2021 will be subject to a full charge.
- This activity requires a minimum participant count to operate. Should the required minimum not be met, the tour will be cancelled and refunded without penalty.
