Surfing and Stand-up Paddle Boarding: 13 + years of age

Come along for an exhilarating ocean ride on Hawaii's pulse-pounding surf with true surfing masters of Waikiki Beach. The Waikiki Beach Boys are a special group of water-men that are licensed in all levels of surf handling provided by the State of Hawaii. Each lesson is geared to introduce students to the fundamentals of surfing, standup paddle boarding, and water safety. The warm tropical waters provide the perfect classroom to nurture your surfing skills to the fullest.
In the lesson, you'll discover the mechanics of waves, currents, winds and tides and see how they affect surf conditions. Everyone can benefit from this surfing experience!
- Meet with the MC&A activity staff at the GRAND ISLANDER TOWER BUS DEPOT
- Trip #1:
- Departs hotel at 8:00 a.m.
- Check in at 8:15 a.m.
- Lesson: 8:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
- Returns to hotel between 9:45 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
- Trip #2:
- Departs hotel at 9:30 a.m.
- Check in at 9:45 a.m.
- Lesson: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
- Returns to hotel between 11:15a a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
- Tour #3:
- Departs hotel at 11:00 a.m.
- Check in at 11:15 a.m.
- Lesson: 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
- Returns to hotel between 12:45 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
- Participants must be comfortable in water, have ability to swim and in good physical condition for paddling.
- Passengers should bring their own towels and sunscreen.

- Participants must be at least 13 years of age or older.
- Cancellations made after November 30, 2021 will be subject to a full charge.
- This activity requires a minimum participant count to operate. Should the required minimum not be met, the tour will be cancelled and refunded without penalty.
