Watch the sun rise from the top of the World...Haleakala, “The House of the Sun.” Your journey takes you up the slopes of Haleakala, as you welcome the new day with the glorious view of the sunrise. Ride in comfort in our mini coaches as your guest’s tour in style and comfort, soaring above endless miles of beauty from what seems like the top of the world. The clear, crisp mountain air and high elevation gives you commanding views of the islands of Hawaii, Kahoolawe, Lanai and Molokai in the distance. See such one-of-a-kind sights as the rare Silversword plant and Hawaii’s State Bird, the Nene Goose along the way. The lush tropical greens and fragrant flowers open to hardened lava the higher you go. The top’s mysterious volcanic region resembles a lunar landscape filled with craters and rolling hills.
- Depart Hyatt Regency from the GROUP ENTRANCE at 2:55 a.m.
- Look for a POLYNESIAN ADVENTURE TOURS vehicle.
- Returns to hotel between 10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
- Dress warmly as temperatures at the summit can be below freezing.

Tour Audio Ipad available in 7 different languages: Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Spanish, German, French, and Italian. By request only. Not available for English speaking guests.
- Cancellation made less than 5 days prior to activity is subject to a full charge.
