“Explore the uninhabited Kanaio Coast aboard a rigid hulled inflatable boat on this rafting adventure. The ride is fast and fun as you travel past Wailea and Makena.
Experience cavernous grottos, sea caves and lava arches formed by molten lava that exploded from a mountain vent over 200 years ago.
From Kanaio, you’ll cruise to the protected waters of La Perouse Bay, for an unforgettable snorkelling experience.
One of several remote snorkelling sites may be offered (time and conditions permitting), such as the La Perouse Pinnacle, which is teeming with fish. Each site has its own unique underwater terrain and marine life, so you get a new experience at every stop.
Your journey will then take you to Makena for a delicious buffet lunch and even more snorkelling. Sea turtles and spinner dolphins are just a few of the playful creatures you might encounter in the water.
- Meet with the MC&A Inc. representative.
- Depart Grand Wailea from the GROUP ENTRANCE at 6:30 a.m.
- Check-in for sail: 6:45 a.m.
- Sail: 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
- You will return to the hotel at approx. 11:15 a.m.
- Participants should wear a swimsuit and cover up, bring their own hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and towel.
- Participants should also keep electronics like cameras and cell phones in a waterproof bag.
- For safety reasons, spray on sunscreen is not allowed as it can make the surfaces very slippery.

- Weather permitting; rafts will ride past the entrance of the sea caves. Rafts are not permitted to enter the caves.
- Not recommended for children under age 4, pregnant women or persons with chronic heart conditions or back or neck problems.
- All riders must sign an Acknowledgement of Risk and Safety Consideration form.
- No restroom on board for changing.
- Trip departs rain or shine.
- Cancellations made after Friday, October 28, 2022 are non-refundable.
- Cancellation of trip due to inclement weather is at the sole discretion of the vendor.
- THIS TOUR REQUIRES A MINIMUM AMOUNT OF PARTICIPANTS TO OPERATE. SHOULD THE MINIMUM NOT BE MET THE TOUR WILL BE CANCELLED AND REFUNDED IN FULL.
