If there is one sport that could be called uniquely “Hawaiian,” it would definitely be surfing.
Enjoyed by early Hawaiian royalty, surfing has grown from a casual beachside activity to an international phenomenon. Experience this “Sport of Kings” for yourself at the Hawaiian Style Surf School.
The calming currents rolling off Maui’s coast provide the perfect training ground for beginner and seasoned surfers. Guided by an experienced instructor, you’ll learn how to ride across the waves at your own pace and skill level. This sport is a unique and rewarding experience for persons of all ages and you’ll be surprised at how easy it is to get started.
Trip # 1:
- Meet with the MC&A Inc. representative.
- Depart Grand Wailea from the GROUP ENTRANCE at 7:30 a.m.
- Check-in: 7:45 a.m.
- Lesson: 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
- You will return to the hotel at approx. 10:15 a.m.
Trip # 2:
- Meet with the MC&A Inc. representative.
- Depart Grand Wailea from the GROUP ENTRANCE at 9:30 a.m.
- Check-in: 9:45 a.m.
- Lesson: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
- You will return to the hotel at approx. 12:15 p.m.
- Participants should bring their own towel, sunscreen and no valuables.
- Apply sunscreen to face, arms and back of legs only.
- Roundtrip transportation
- Surfing lesson
- Soft-top surfboard, Lycra shirt
- Leash and surf booties
- Energy bar, fresh pineapple slices, juice, and water
- State Tax
- Due to COVID-19, certain inclusions, meal options and capacities may be changed to adhere to local mandates, and current safety & health guidelines for all activities proposed.
- Children age 8 and under are not permitted.
- To ensure safety, you must be able to swim, float and be comfortable in the ocean.
- All riders must sign an Acknowledgement of Risk and Safety Consideration form.
- Cancellations made after Friday, October 28, 2022 are non-refundable.
- Cancellation of trip due to inclement weather is at the sole discretion of the vendor.
- THIS TOUR REQUIRES A MINIMUM AMOUNT OF PARTICIPANTS TO OPERATE. SHOULD THE MINIMUM NOT BE MET THE TOUR WILL BE CANCELLED AND REFUNDED IN FULL.
