Experience a day of high seas adventure on board one of Trilogy’s finest sailing catamarans. Starting with a soothing continental breakfast of cinnamon rolls and fresh seasonal fruit, you’ll head to Molokini Crater, the first of two snorkeling sites.
Swim with the Crater’s unique variety of beautiful underwater inhabitants around elegant reef formations. Then it’s off to a second remote site for more snorkeling fun.
The onboard Hawaiian-style barbecue lunch will satisfy even the most robust appetite. The Discover Molokini day ends with some of the best flat-water speed sailing in Hawaii.
Timing:
- Depart Grand Wailea Resort: 7:15 a.m.
- Check in at: 7:45 a.m.
- Trilogy II Snorkel Sail: 8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
- Approximate return to hotel: 1:30 p.m.
- Participants should wear a swimsuit and cover up, bring their own hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and towel.
- Maui ban restricts the sale, distribution, and use of non-mineral sunscreens.
- For safety reasons, spray on sunscreen is not allowed… as it can make the surfaces very slippery.
- Participants should also keep electronics like cameras and cell phones in a waterproof bag.
- 5-hour snorkel Excursion
- Breakfast consisting of Mom Coon’s homemade cinnamon rolls (a 4th generation recipe), fresh fruit platter, fresh brewed Kona coffee, tea, hot cocoa and Hawaii’s own pineapple juice
- Lunch consisting of Captain Coon’s barbecued teriyaki chicken, tossed green salad with Mom Coon’s secret dressing, vegetarian luau rice, and assorted rolls with butter
- Beverages: A wide variety of non-alcoholic beverages are available throughout the day, plus (2) premium alcoholic beverages for guests that are 21 years of age and older to include, Moloka‘i Mule, Lana‘i Tai, Locally Brewed Beer, and White Wine are available on the return sail.
