Exploring the Hawaii Island’s Kona Coast on Captain Zodiac’s 24-foot RIBs is the experience of a lifetime! For over 40 years, Captain Zodiac has introduced visitors to an array of nature’s secret wonders that can only be experienced in a Zodiac Raft. The small group atmosphere of our expedition allows for a personal and intimate tour. Snorkel in the crystal-clear waters of Kealakekua Bay Marine Preserve, site of the Captain Cook monument. These highly maneuverable, military Zodiacs can get you close to the many lava tubes, sea caves, and blow holes of this rugged coastline. Keep a sharp eye, for you will see and encounter pods of Hawaiian spinner dolphins, sea turtles, and humpback whales (January – April)!
Your captains/naturalists will tell stories of Hawaiian history and culture, island geology, and many marine species that you will encounter. A delicious tropical snack of sweet, fresh pineapple, fruit, chips, cookies, and soft drinks are included.

Timing:
- Check-in: 7:45 a.m.
- Tour time: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
- Passengers should wear a swimsuit and cover up, bring their own hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, and towels.
- Passengers should also keep electronics like cameras and cell phones in a waterproof bag.
- A valid picture ID is required to consume alcoholic beverages. Must be 21 years and older.
- Four-hour rafting adventure, snorkeling time is 1.5 hours
- Snack consisting of chips, cookies, sodas, fruit juices and water
- Snorkel gear, flotation devices, prescription masks, and instruction

- Pregnant women and persons with back problems are not permitted.
- For safety reasons, spray on sunscreen is not allowed… as it can make the surfaces very slippery.
- There will be no refund for cancellations made less than 9 days prior to activity.
