The gentle harbor of Maalaea sets the stage for a grand ocean fishing adventure! The warm coastal waters off Maui's shores are home to some of the greatest big game fish in the world, including Pacific Blue Marlin, Ahi (yellowfin tuna), and Mahi Mahi (dolphin fish). Imagine venturing across the deep blue sea on your own private fishing vessel to land one of these beauties for yourself. Departing from picturesque Maalaea Harbor, you'll set sail with a very experienced captain and crew. Catch grand panoramic vistas of Maui’s South Shore on your way to the fishing site.
Strike Zone offers two types of fishing. Bottom Fishing is used to catch fish found near the sea floor. Anglers will drop their line to the sea floor, reel in just a little bit, and wait for a bite! Trolling is a method of fishing where one or more baited fishing lines are pulled through the water behind a moving boat. Up to 6 lines in the water at the same time while traveling (trolling) to/from bottom fishing spots. Then up to 16 lines in the water at the same time for bottom fishing. Or you can only offer Deep Sea Fishing/Trolling with up to 6 lines in the water at the same time while trolling.
You are welcome to bring along your own breakfast or lunch and/or alcoholic beverages (no glass containers allowed) to enjoy along the way.

Timing:
- Check-in at 6:45 a.m.
- Tour: 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
- Participants should bring a cover up, hat, sunglasses, and non-aerosol/reef-safe sunscreen.
- For safety reasons, spray-on sunscreen is not allowed as it makes surfaces very slippery.
- Participants should also keep electronics like cameras and cell phones in a waterproof bag.
- Participants may bring their own breakfast/lunch and/or alcoholic beverages (no glass containers allowed).
- For safety reasons, no glass bottles and bananas are allowed.

- Gratuity is not included and is at the guest’s own discretion and expense.
- Not recommended for children under 6 years old.
- The State of Hawaii bans the sale, distribution, and use of non-mineral sunscreens.
- Participants may be required to sign a release and waiver of liability prior to taking the tour.
- There will be no refund for cancellations made less than 7 days prior to activity.
