Get ready for the ride of your life on an epic off-road adventure in West Maui. Join Maui Off-Road Adventures for a UTV tour that will take you to places you have never seen before. Drive a Canam Sport Max 1000, one of the coolest and most powerful off-road vehicles in the world. This beast can handle any terrain, and it has room for four people, so you can bring your friends or family along. The guides are experts in off-roading, and they will show you the best spots to enjoy the stunning views and the thrilling rides. This tour is not just about having fun. It’s also about learning and appreciating the natural beauty and the cultural significance of West Maui. Explore the Puu Kukui Watershed Preserve, a sacred and protected area that is home to many rare and endemic plants and animals. Puu kukui means hill of enlightenment, and it is the highest point of the West Maui mountains. It is also the source of water for Kapalua Resort and the surrounding communities. Learn about the history and the ecology of this amazing place, and how you can help preserve it for future generations. Don’t miss this chance to experience West Maui like never before.

Trip # 1:

  • Check-in for ride: 11:30 a.m.
  • Activity: 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Trip # 2:

  • Check-in for ride: 10:00 a.m.
  • Activity: 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

All Drivers must show proof of a valid driver’s license.

  • Each vehicle can have up to (2) drivers.
  • Participants must wear closed toed shoes that completely cover their entire foot, NO slippers or flip-flops are permitted.
  • Be sure clothing and personal items will withstand dirt, possible mud, water and bouncing around. We will not be responsible for personal property.
  • Long pants are recommended but not required.

  1. Minimum (2) participants required for each reservation.
  2. All drivers must be at least 18 years old and show proof of a valid driver’s license.
  3. Children must be at least 7 years old and accompanied by a responsible family adult driver (18 years or older).
  4. Weight capacity is 800 pounds per UTV.
  5. Guests will get very dirty and possibly soaking wet.
  6. Chance of rain; raincoats are available for rent or ponchos for purchase. (gloves are available upon request)
  7. We do not provide showers to get completely cleaned up. We have sinks and paper towels to wash hands, arms, and face.
  8. Smoking is not permitted on the tour.
  9. All riders must sign an Acknowledgement of Risk and Safety Consideration form.
  10. Drivers and participants will be given a safety briefing and equipment orientation and will be required to drive a small course to show their proficiency at driving a UTV.
  11. Due to the nature of the ride people who are pregnant and people with back or heart problems are not allowed.
  • There will be no refund for cancellations made less than 7 days prior to activity.
