From the time your tour starts, our guides, recognized for their knowledge of Hawaii's natural environment and culture. Immerse yourself in the beauty of nature, engage yourself throughout the tour, and let yourself be inspired as you expand your boundaries of fun. Swim beneath two waterfalls, and hike through the rainforest with Maui's most knowledgeable and personable guides.
Pick wild fruit; enjoy a wide variety of flowers, fruits, and ornamentals, as well as large trees and bamboo. Enjoy a delicious snack at one of the waterfalls and have great fun in a wonderfully benign natural environment on this 1-mile hike. Awarded Hawaii Eco Tourism Association Operator of the Year and Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence, Hike Maui has received countless raves for guided hiking tours on the island of Maui since 1983.
Timing:
Time Meeting at Kahului Park & Ride (at intersection of Highway 380 and Highway 311 - diagonal to King’s Cathedral)
- Meet at Kahului Park & Ride: 9:30 a.m.
- Return to Kahului Park & Ride: 12:30 p.m.
Time With Hotel Pick-up:
- Pick-up at Wailea/Kihei Hotel Between: 8:35 a.m. – 9:10 a.m.
- Return to Wailea/Kihei Hotel Between: 12:45 p.m. – 1:15 p.m.
- Recommended attire: Swimsuit under clothing, shorts, short-sleeved shirt, and tennis shoes or closed-toe sport sandals that can get wet and muddy (NO flip-flops).
- Please bring a towel.
- Roundtrip transportation from hotel (if transportation option is selected)
- Narrative on Hawaiian natural and cultural history on the hike and during the drive
- Snack consisting of fresh island fruit, chocolate chip cookies (no nuts), chips, and bottled water.
- Day pack, rainwear, insect repellent

- Participants are required to sign a release and waiver of liability prior to taking the tour.
- There’s an elevation change of 150 feet and half-mile each way.
- Hiking trails can be slippery during and after heavy rains.
- There will be one restroom stop.
- Children under 4 are not permitted.
- There will be no refund for cancellations made less than 7 days prior to activity.
